Steven Russo, Phyllis Garcia: Runaway teens sought in Okeechobee

Okeechobee deputies want you to be on the lookout for two runaway teens.

17-year-old Steven Russo and 14-year-old Phyllis Garcia were last seen leaving school Tuesday.

Detectives suspect they hid in the woods until it was dark.

They think the pair took a taxi out of the county and may be headed toward Missouri.

Russo left a note saying they were leaving and would be gone for four years.

Russo was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, black sneakers and a 'Dixie Chopper' camouflage hat.

Garcia was carrying a large black bag with white flowers and a blue backpack,. She was wearing dark jeans, a green shirt and black Nike shoes.
