OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. - A 41-year-old Miami man is facing charges for impersonating a federal officer in Okeechobee County.

Vincente Valdes was arrested last week.

Officials say Valdes told investigators he was a retired officer and ex-marine.

He had an Immigration and Customs Enforcement badge, a retired law enforcement officer concealed weapons badge, and three handguns in a backpack.

An investigation showed Valdes was never an officer.
