Person airlifted to hospital after crash between a car and pickup truck in Tequesta

One person with serious injuries was airlifted by Trauma Hawk to Delray Medical Center after being struck by  a vehicle while riding their motorcycle, said Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Spokesman, Captain Albert Borroto.

TEQUESTA, Fla. - A person is being airlifted to hospital  after being injured in a crash between a car and a pickup truck in Tequesta.

The accident happened around 4:42 p.m. at the intersection of Bridge Road and Old Dixie Highway, said Peter Allen, spokesman for Tequesta Fire Rescue.

Rescue crews found the occupant of the car unconscious, Allen said. He said the victim was taken by Trauma Hawk to St. Mary’s Medical Center.

No one in the truck was injured, Allen said.

There are no additional details immediately available.
