, Fla. — A 49-year-old woman has been arrested and her 29-year-old son is wanted in connection to a recent string of automobile burglaries, police said Thursday night.

Deborah Uhland was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of vehicle burglary, grand theft and using stolen cards, said Lt. Jason Turner, spokesman for the Tequesta Police Department.

Andrew Uhland is still at large after fleeing his residence while police spoke to his mother, the release said.

Deborah Uhland confessed to being a lookout while her son entered unlocked vehicle and stole various items such as wallets, iPods and credit cards, Turner said.

The duo would use the stolen credit cards to buy gift cards and cigarettes and to fill family vehicles with fuel. Their acts were captured by numerous video cameras throughout the city, Turner said.
