Teens compete in firefighting simulation

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Dozens of South Florida teens perfected some valuable skills Saturday.
Young men and women took part in the 2012 Learning for Life Firematics Competition at the Palm Beach Gardens fire house on Northlake Boulevard.
Teams from fire departments throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast competed in 5 drills, simulating what firefighters do in an emergency situation.
Organizers say they place a large emphasis on teamwork.
