PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.-- PGA Boulevard has reopened after police blocked it off for nearly four and a half hours following the discovery of a suspicious package.
A Division of Motor Vehicles employee spotted the package outside the building at 3185 PGA Boulevard before 7:30.
As a result, PGA Boulevard, from Fairfield Dr to Fairchild Gardens Avenue, was shut down as a precaution.
The bomb squad was called and did several inspections, and even conducted a chemical test on the package.
They determined it was not an explosive device, but have not revealed its contents.
The DMV office was the only building shut down. The Toys"R"Us which is on one side of the building, and the tax collector's office, which is on the other side, remained open.
