PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Southbound lanes on Florida's Turnpike in Palm Beach Gardens have reopened after a four-car accident.

Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue reports there may be three to four people with non-life threatening injuries and one person who has serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 12:37 p.m. Traffic was temporarily backed up for about five miles, according to FHP.
