PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A teen is dead and four others are in the hospital after a crash involving alcohol that happened just before midnight in Palm Beach Gardens Thursday, according to the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.
Police say a Ford Explorer was traveling east on Northlake Boulevard when it collided with a Kia trying to make a U-turn near the Montecito neighborhood.
19-year-old Bryanna N. Sanville, the passenger of the Kia, was killed instantly when the Explorer struck the passenger door. Police say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
The Kia driver, Sabrina J. Gavagni Fiorentino, also a 19-year-old from Palm Beach Gardens, was taken to the St. Mary's Hospital.
The Ford Explorer's driver, Dora J. Valencia, 42, of Palm Beach Gardens, was also taken to the hospital with her two passengers: a boy and Viviana Silva, a 19-year-old girl.
According to the St. Mary's Hospital public information officer, Valencia is in good condition, and Silva is in fair.
