PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue responded to an early morning fire in theĀ 2000 block of PGA Boulevard, near the corner of Prosperity Farms Road in Palm Beach Gardens.
The fire broke out in Meadows Circle North around 3:32 a.m. in a double-wide modular home. The flames caused heavy damage to the unit and fire rescue officials say the $30,000 mobile home is a total loss.
The only person inside when the fire broke out, a 48-year-old man, was already out of the home when rescue units arrived.
He has been transportedĀ to a nearby hospital for minor injuries related to smoke inhalation.
Investigators have determined the cause of the fire was electrical in nature.
