Osama death top of mind at 9/11 memorial

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - People from across the South Florida headed to our area 9/11 memorials after hearing the news of Osama Bin Laden's death.
One of those memorials is at Fire Station Number 3 in Palm Beach Gardens. A steel column, C-89, was part of the south tower of the World Trade Center. Names around the memorial identify victims of the 9/11 attacks.

Although the news was announced on Sunday night many heard about it for the first time as they headed for school and work on Monday morning.
They say it is news they will never forget and some said it was about time.
