PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A motorcyclist was killed and two other people injured Monday night in an accident on Northlake Boulevard, city fire-rescue officials said.
The accident happened just after 9 p.m. on the street near the Interstate 95 entrance. No details were immediately available as to how the crash occurred, but city fire-rescue officials said the motorcycle collided with a Land Rover SUV.
The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene, said officials, who did not identify the driver.
A passenger on the motorcycle was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach for treatment, as was the driver of the Land Rover.
The extent of the passenger's injuries was unknown late Monday, but officials said the SUV driver's injuries were not life-threatening.
