PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A 12-year-old boy suffered minor injuries Tuesday evening after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Palm Beach Gardens, according to Division Chief Keith Bryer, spokesman for city fire.
The boy was about to cross the intersection of Crestdale Street and Applecrest Drive when he was hit by a car that had not come to a complete stop at the stop sign, Bryer said.
He said the car was traveling at a very low rate of speed when it struck the child.
The boy was taken to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center with minor injuries, Bryer said.
