PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - South Florida fans of fashion are flipping out, thanks to a new addition to the Gardens Mall.
"We're elated that H&M is opening here in the Gardens Mall. We think that it's an incredible addition to our world class line-up of stores," said Debbie Negri, the marketing director for the Gardens Mall.
The new two-level store carries clothing for men, women, and children.
According to Nicole Christie, a spokesperson for H&M, the product line will take the area's fashion sense to new heights while keeping the prices low.
"Keeping it trendy, giving them what's current, and having something for the whole family. We really focus on quality, and the price. Especially during these tough economic times, we think that really resonates with the customers," said Christie.
The Gardens location will be the first South Florida link in the fashion store's chain.
"We see the south as a great area for customers, for us to open stores. We're getting a lot of requests from customers in this area to open up, so we see the south as one of our newly expanding regions," said Christie.
Which is good news for shoppers like Alexa Marcello. "We're so excited. I found out there's men's, women's, kids, everything. And it's two stories so it's a big thing," said Marcello.
A preview event was planned for Thursday evening, but the store's grand opening is Friday at noon, where the first 250 customers in line will receive a gift card worth up to $300 dollars in store merchandise.
