PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A 6-year-old boy was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center after nearly drowning in a hotel pool on Sunday afternoon, said Division Chief Keith Bryer, spokesman for Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue.
When family members discovered the child at the bottom of the pool, they immediately pulled him from the water and started CPR, said Bryer.
The child was crying and responsive by the time fire rescue crews arrived around 4:00 p.m. on the scene in the 4100 block of Northlake Boulevard, Bryer said.
