PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- A 5-year-old boy was struck by a van while riding his bicycle in Palm Beach Gardens Wednesday evening, according to Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue spokesperson Keith Bryer.
The child was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in serious condition, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesperson Don DeLucia.
The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. on the 12000 block of Dinghy Road, DeLucia said.
