One dead, one seriously hurt after car accident on Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard

A woman is dead and a man was transported by Trauma Hawk to a hospital after a single vehicle accident on Northlake Boulevard and Beeline Highway, according to West Palm Beach Police.
Rescue units said a car hit a pole and the pole then fell on the vehicle. The incident happened at approximately 2:00 p.m..
The trauma alert patient was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center.
Traffic delays are expected while West Palm Beach Police investigate the accident, according to West Palm Beach Police spokesman, Capt. David Bernhardt.
