Paradise Villas apartment fire: Two hospitalized after fire at North Palm Beach apartment

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Two people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation after a North Palm Beach apartment fire early this morning.

The fire started at the Paradise Villas shortly after 1 a.m.

The apartment complex is north of the North Palm Beach Marina.

The North Palm Beach fire department says the fire started in an apartment on the first floor and was contained.

At least one dozen neighbors were forced to evacuate.

All were allowed back into their homes, except the resident of the burned unit.
