A judge this morning refused to set bond for a North Palm Beach man charged with stabbing his roommate twice in the chest early Saturday.
According to a police report. Edwin C. Moore, 27, got into a fight with Matthew Pulley outside the Crazy Horse Saloon at 4240 Northlake Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens.
Pulley, 28, walked into the bar holding his chest and told patrons to call 911, saying "Eddy stabbed me." Pulley, who works with Moore at Duffy's Sports Grill near the bar, also told the police officer who rode with him to the hospital that Moore had stabbed him.
Shortly after the stabbing, police arrested Moore during a traffic stop and found a large, sheathed silver knife in the driver's side door panel. Moore had blood spatters on his arms and feet.
Moore was in critical condition at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach early Sunday, according to the police report.
Moore was charged with attempted first-degree murder and carrying a concealed weapon. He appeared today before County Court Judge Janis Brustares Keyser at the Palm Beach County Detention Center on Gun Club Road.
