NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two manatees, Holly and Pigpen, were released into the wild Wednesday afternoon.

It happened at Anchorage Park in North Palm Beach.

Holly was originally rescued by SeaWorld's Animal Care Team at the St Lucie nuclear power plant in December of 1995.

At that time she was six feet long and weighed 250 pounds. Now, more than 15 years later, she is 11 feet long and weighs 2,200 pounds.

She was later moved to Homosassa Springs Sate Wildlife Park and the Columbus Zoo in Ohio.

Pigpen, a young male,  was rescued in November suffering from cold stress.
