NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla - The Civil Air Patrol has called off its ground and air search this evening for a helicopter pilot who never arrived at his Georgia destination.

Officials said the helicopter was on a flight Monday from North Palm Beach to Blairsville, Georgia, but it did not reach its destination.

Mission Information Officer Major Paige Joyner tells NewsChannel5 they've checked all logical airports for the missing pilot and they haven't found him.

The pilot was flying a Robinson R44 helicopter.

Officials are not releasing the pilot's name.
