NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. - Police arrested a North Palm Beach woman Wednesday for allegedly cutting her husband with two kitchen knives after he refused to pay for her cats' medical bills.
Robin Warren, 55, has been charged with aggravated battery and false imprisonment, according to a North Palm Beach arrest report.
While the couple argued over the cat's medical treatment, the report said, Warren became increasingly angry - so angry that she allegedly lunged at her husband with scissors.
The husband, whom the report did not identify, quickly retrieved the scissors from his wife. Warren then grabbed a wooden coat hanger and struck him in the face, the report said.
When her husband tried to leave their Renaissance Drive home, Warren grabbed two kitchen knives and began to cut him on his hands and arms.
When village public safety officers arrived, her husband refused medical attention and left the residence, the report said. Warren was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and was released Thursday.
