WIRK will hold a collection drive Monday morning in honor of fallen Jupiter Officer Bruce St.Laurent

JUPITER, Fla. - Country radio station WIRK will hold a collection Monday morning in honor of fallen Jupiter Police Officer Bruce St. Laurent, said Tim Burger, the station's morning drive personality.

St. Laurent, a 20-year-veteran of the department, died Sunday evening as result of injuries suffered when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle while he was riding in President Barack Obama's presidential motorcade.

Burger said the collection will start at 6 a.m. at the Jupiter Town Hall at 210 Military Trail.
