JUPITER, Fla. - A fight over who would drive to a fast-food restaurant landed a Jupiter woman in jail, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
A woman came to the Jupiter Police Department and said she had a dispute with a person, identified as Kim Wallace, over who would go to a McDonald's to get food for a house member.
The victim told deputies that Wallace pushed her with both hands and yelled at her. The woman told investigators that she then went to her bedroom and locked the door.
According to statements made by the victim, Wallace was able to open the bedroom door and grabbed her by the throat.
The victim told investigators she fled to the Jupiter Police Department to get help after Wallace took her cell phone.
PBSO deputies arrested Wallace and charged her with domestic battery on a person over the age of 65 and victim tampering.
