UPDATE: A Jupiter High School freshman who went missing most of last week was found unharmed over the weekend and back in school on Monday, school police said Tuesday morning.
Ellen Fitzpatrick's parents reported the 14-year-old girl missing last Tuesday after she failed to come home from school. On Friday, the Palm Beach County School District turned to the public for help finding her.
A district spokeswoman said at the time that Fitzpatrick had a history of running away.
The girl was spotted late Saturday afternoon walking in the area of Center Street and Philadelphia Drive in Jupiter, School Police Det. Renita Price said today.
She was sent home with her mother, Price said.

The Palm Beach County School Police Department is seeking information on a missing child.
According to the school district, Ellen Fitzpatrick was last seen on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 around 2:30 p.m. at Jupiter High School.
They say she was wearing blue jeans, a light blue short sleeve shirt, sandals, and had a tan colored book bag.
Police say if anyone has seen her they should contact your local law enforcement agency or the Palm Beach County School Police.

Sex: Female
Race: White
Hair: Red or Auburn
Eyes: Blue
Weight: 100 lbs.
Clothing: (Last wearing) Blue jeans, light blue short sleeve shirt and sandals.
