The Jupiter town council will decide Tuesday whether to construct new apartments in Abacoa.
The plan is to build about three hundred apartments between Main Street and Stadium Drive.
That's located right across the street from Roger Dean Stadium.
That location is currently a parking lot, with nearly one thousand available parking spaces.
According to our news partners at the Palm Beach Post, if the apartments are built they would take out at least 600 parking spaces.
Baseball fans would then have to park elsewhere, such as at the nearby FAU campus or in a parking garage across the street.
Those against the project fear if the apartments are built, it'll make it harder for fans to park for baseball games.
They fear the fans' frustration could lead to the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals going elsewhere for Spring Training.
Both teams bring millions to Palm Beach County each year during Spring Training.
The town council meeting begins at 7 p.m.
