JUPITER, Fla. - Jupiter police arrested two off duty West Palm Beach police officers early Thursday morning.
Christopher Clark and Timothy Pike are charged with felony criminal mischief for allegedly damaging a truck and car in an Abacoa parking garage.
Michael Stuve manages the Pineapples Lounge in Abacoa.
His truck was vandalized early Thursday morning. Stuve said, "Really irritates me, I have to fix my truck and two off-duty police officers just decided to trash a couple of innocent people's cars for their own fun."
Stuve finished work at about 2:30 and walked to his truck at a nearby parking garages 3rd floor.
There, Stuve says he saw Clark and Pike next to his smashed up truck.
Stuve said, "I was just kind of scared because the guys were a lot bigger than me and it was late at night, so I didn't know what to expect, maybe the worst case scenario was going to happen."
Police say Stuve's car wasn't the only one damaged by Clark and Pike.
Stephen Murphy’s car was damaged as well.
A frustrated Murphy said, "Just how stupid can you be? That's terrible."
Police say Clark and Pike appeared intoxicated when they were arrested.
Management at Jumby Bay Island Grill, a bar just down the street from the parking garage, says they cut off the two officers at midnight, meaning the decision was made to stop serving them any more alcohol.
More than two hours later, the two were arrested.
Jupiter police were on back in the garage Thursday, looking at other cars damaged overnight.
Police will investigate whether or not this damage is linked to Clark and Pike.
Meanwhile, Murphy's hoping for the best.
"The cars in my dad’s name and he's probably not going to let me take it anymore. Just have to get it fixed somehow,” said Murphy.
Both officers are on administrative duty pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
Both were released from jail without bond.
