JUNO BEACH, Fla. - Despite the on and off rain, lots of people made their way to Loggerhead Marine Life Center in Juno Beach this afternoon for the annual Turtlefest.
Saturday's festival focused on promoting conservation through up-close interactions with threatened and endangered sea turtles.
As well as learning about the sea turtles, visitors had a chance to enjoy music, art, presentations, and games.
"I've been here since this morning, took the bus over, and we've been playing and watching the turtles, having slurpees, and just having a great time," said Linda Foley.
Officials say they will be releasing 3 turtles this Wednesday at 1 pm. For more information visit them on the web at marinelife.org .
