JUNO BEACH, Fla. - The 14th annual "Tour de Force" police charity bike ride arrived in Juno Beach Tuesday morning after starting yesterday in North Miami Beach.
Their mission is simple...ride to raise money for families of officers killed in the line of duty.
The final destination is the Daytona Beach Shores Police Department.
The 5-day ride will benefit the families of Florida officers lost in the line of duty during 2010.
"This time last year we only had two officers killed in the state of Florida when we did our bike ride and we're already at 10 this year. A lot of people are understanding the importance of raising the money for these families," said Craig Catlin, a detective with the North Miami Beach police department.
The group has raised $16,000 this year. Last year, $25,000 was raised. If you would like to donate, click here.
