JUNO BEACH, Fla. -- A sea turtle rescued from the cold waters of Cape Cod will get to return to the ocean on Wednesday, May 1.
Brewster, a loggerhead sea turtle, has been recuperating at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach since January.
Brewster is one of 15 turtles that came to the facility after being found in the Cape. Many were suffering from hypothermia when they arrived.
Now, after months of rehabilitation, Brewster is healthy enough to be released back into the ocean on Wednesday at 1 p.m., weather permitting.
The public is invited to watch as Brewster makes his way home. He'll be released at Loggerhead Park near the Marinelife Center.
