JUPITER, Fla. - Eric Rawdon remains in the Palm Beach County jail after being arrested Monday night.
An arrest report released by the Florida Highway Patrol says that Rawdon took a marked Palm Beach County Sheriff's police vehicle from Deputy Kevin Rawdon. According to the Palm Beach Post , Kevin is Eric's father.
A PBSO Deputy attempted to stop Eric, but he did not stop according to an arrest report.
The FHP report says that Rawdon led police on a chase that reached speeds of 120 miles per hour.
According to the FHP, he lost control of the PBSO Crown Victoria on Indiantown Road in Jupiter just west of the Florida Turnpike.
The police cruiser crossed the median divider on Indiantown Road before crashing into trees, bushes and traffic signs, according to investigators.
Rawdon was arrested and charged with reckless driving, violating driver's license restrictions, resisting an officer, fleeing and eluding at a high speed and grand theft of a motor vehicle according to arrest documents.
