STUART, Fla. -- After undergoing a $16 million expansion, TurboCombustor Technology Inc. in Stuart will be taking on new employees.
The company says it'll hire about two hundred people over the next four years.
TurboCombustor currently employs 397 people at its Stuart location.
The company has other locations in Cincinnati and Budapest, Hungary.
TurboCombustor specializes in engine parts for aircrafts.
Right now, it's hiring for multiple positions including Program Manager, Buyer/Purchaser and Inspectors.
This is good news for the state's job market.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Florida lost more than ten thousand jobs last year.
It did, however, gain at least sixty-five thousand jobs.
Governor Rick Scott will visit TurboCombustor Monday afternoon for a ribbon cutting ceremony. It begins at 2 p.m.
