Ryan Weeks in a coma, fundraiser Rally4Ryan gathers donations for toddler's family

STUART, Fla. -- Ryan Weeks is a two year old from Port St. Lucie who is currently in a coma after he suffered an accident in the family swimming pool.

A gathering at BMerry Gastro Pub in Stuart raised funds to help Weeks' parents, who have both stayed by his side since his injury.

Event organizer John Gizze said lending a helping hand to another family in their time of need is priceless.

"It's making me happy that we can do this as a community to help out people that a lot of these people don't even know," he said.

The fundraiser included comedians, bands and raffle prizes, with a portion of the night's sales going to the Weeks family.
