Daughter charged with arson at Stuart home

STUART, Fla. - A 20-year-old Brandon woman is charged with arson and criminal mischief at her mother's home in the 2900 block of Southeast Ellendale Street, Stuart, on Friday, sheriff's reports shows.

Marie Mindor, 20, of Brandon was arrested at 9:33 a.m. after allegedly setting fire to a rug and clothing and breaking household items, according to reports.

The mother discovered the smoldering rug and clothing when she came home from trying to secure a court protective order against the daughter, reports said.
