The National Resources Defense Council will release the 22nd Annual beach water report Wednesday morning.
The council looked at more than 3,000 beaches throughout the country, identifying those with persistent contamination and pollution problems.
Those issues include bacteria in the water, as well as signs of human or animal waste in the water.
The council also looked at beaches with the least problems and best safety practices.
Perhaps not good or bad, beaches along our coast weren't at the top or bottom of that list.
Starting at 10 a.m., the council will allow you to search zip codes to find out where your favorite beaches stack up.
