STUART, Fla. -- Classes are back in session Wednesday for Martin County schools.
Martin County School District Superintendent Nancy Kline toured classrooms Wednesday morning at Crystal Lake Elementary.
She visited one kindergarten class, where students answered what they wanted to learn this school year.
The district is welcoming several new principals this year.
The district is also launching a new academy program for middle schools, featuring a Microsoft Information Technology Academy or a Medical Science Academy.
School officials want parents to watch out for extra kids on the road, walking to the bus stop or walking to school.
