One person was reported killed and two more taken to area hospitals by ambulance Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95, just south of the Martin Highway interchange.

Early reports indicate the crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. between mile markers 108 and 109.

Northbound traffic on the interstate was temporarily stopped while emergency workers made safe an electric line from a nearby billboard.

No additional information about the crash or identities of the victims was available Saturday evening.
