MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. - Detectives are looking for two suspects involved in the armed robbery of three men of more than $2,000 cash on Sunday, the Martin County Sheriff's Office said.

Two other people accused of helping plot the robbery were taken into custody about an hour after the crime, the Sheriff's Office said.

Investigators said Aleisha Renae Johnson, 30, of the 5000 block of Southeast Grouper Avenue, Stuart, drove the three men down a dirt road where the stick-up and assault happened shortly after midnight Sunday, according to her affidavit. She was charged with robbery and remained Monday at the Martin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Johnson's boyfriend, John Rizzotto, 35, of the 4900 block of Southeast Pompano Terrace, Stuart, kicked and beat the men during the crime, his affidavit states. He was being held at the jail in lieu of $20,000 bail on an armed robbery charge.

The men the Sheriff's Office described as the victims said they asked Johnson to drive them around that night. Johnson drove them down Southeast Cortez Street, where Rizzotto and the other suspects were waiting, their affidavits state. The unidentified suspects — one armed with a gun — opened the back doors and demanded the victims to "give it up," according to the reports.

Deputies said they made a traffic stop on a car driven by Johnson near The Crossings and took her and Rizzotto into custody about 1:20 a.m. Sunday.

No names or descriptions of the other two suspects were released Monday.
