STUART, Fla. - The Martin County Sheriff's Office hosted a "NOPE Task Force" workshop Friday, to help prevent teen deaths by drug overdose.

"NOPE" stands for "Narcotics Overdose Prevention and Education."

Images of Martin County teenagers who have died from drug overdoses hung from the walls, as participants listened to presentations teaching them how to reach young people.

"We really just want to let these students know that it's a reality, it's happened to us, sometimes, and we just don't want it to happen anymore," said Stacey LoSardo, Coordinator of the NOPE Task Force of Martin County.
