MARTIN COUNTY — Martin County Sheriff’s Office deputies are responding to a plane crash in western Martin County.
About 11:30 a.m. Monday, deputies received a call about a crash in the 27000 block of Southwest Warfield Boulevard.
The pilot sustained minor injuries and two other people on board were unharmed, said Martin County Fire Rescue spokesman Bill Schobel.
The plane is described as a single engine Cessna, Schobel said.
The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified of the crash. FAA investigators from Orlando are traveling to the crash, said Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Christine Christofek.
No further information was available.
