JENSEN BEACH, Fla. - A person hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Jensen Beach Friday evening has died, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The victim, 43-year-old Michael R. Brennan, was struck around 8:33 p.m. in the 4100 block of N.W. Federal Highway and rushed to St. Lucie Medical Center, said Chief Doug Killane, spokesman for Martin County Fire Rescue.
Brennan was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, Josephine Cantori, was injured in the crash and was taken to Martin Memorial Medical Center with unknown injuries, according to Killane.
Her passenger, Richard Cantori, was uninjured.
