Hundreds of cyclists in Stuart gear up for a good cause

STUART, Fla. - A big event is being held in downtown Stuart Sunday.

Treasure Coast Cycling Fest starts at 7 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Event organizers expect several hundred cyclists to attend.

Proceeds from the event go towards the Stuart Boys and Girls Club.

Cycle Fest will cause some road closures in the area.

Southeast Dixie Highway between Southeast MLK boulevard and Southeast 5th Street will be shut down.

Southeast Colorado Avenue between Southeast 5th and Southeast MLK will also be closed off.

Southeast MLK between South Colorado and Southeast Dixie Highway will be blocked off.

Lastly, the lanes in part of Southeast 5th Street between Southeast Dixie and South Colorado will be closed.
