HOBE SOUND — Martin County Sheriff’s Office deputies need your help in locating a man who allegedly molested a 4-year-old girl in her own home late Thursday.
Deputies are looking for Olivero Martinez-Ramirez, 21, who is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The father of the girl discovered Martinez, who was rooming at the home, in the living room touching the girl’s genital area, according to a report released by Sheriff’s Office
spokeswoman Rhonda Irons.
The father, whose name and address are being withheld because of the age of the victim, confronted Martinez and a physical altercation took place, according to the report. The dispute ended with Martinez fleeing the home on foot and he has not
been seen since.
Deputies searched the neighborhood for Martinez and now want the public’s help in finding and arresting him. He faces charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of a minor.
There is no known employment for Martinez-Ramirez and no vehicle information. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Martinez-Ramirez is asked to contact Detective John Perez at (772) 220-7060 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at (800) 273-8477.
