INDIANTOWN — An altercation that allegedly started on Facebook ended up in a store parking lot in Indiantown early Thursday.
Ana Leocardia “Paris” Velasco, 19, who lives in the 14000 block of Southwest 174th Court in Indiantown was charged with aggravated assault and remained in the Martin County Jail on Friday, records show.
Velasco pulled up outside the store in the 14000 block of Southwest 169th Drive and her adversary said Velasco threatened to stab her with a knife and hit her with a tire iron, according to the arrest affidavit.
Her adversary told deputies that bystanders prevented Velasco from getting out of her vehicle and the adversary drove away, an arrest affidavit states. Velasco followed her to her home, but left when her adversary’s mother came out of the residence, it states.
Deputies pulled over Velasco and she told deputies she threatened to run over her adversary with her car when the adversary threatened to fight her, but she never threatened her with a knife or tire iron, it states.
