Zip codes 32963 and 33480 rank as two of the biggest Romney campaign contributors in the country

VERO BEACH, Fla. - Reports say the Vero Beach Barrier Island zip code of 32963 was recently the number one financial contributor to the Romney campaign. The top zip codes list , found on the non-profit, non-partisan website opensecrets.org changes as people across the country contribute. But 32963 still holds strong.
32963 is synonymous with wealth and affluence. That's part of the reason people like Billy Moss say fellow 32963 residents support Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
"This is the land of CEOs and Fortune 500 executives, and a lot of business people live here, and it's a conservative town," said Moss, who works in commercial real estate.
Moss said he contributed an undisclosed amount to the Romney campaign himself, listing his second residence of Chicago.
"We just believe that he's the leader that we need right now," said Moss.
Moss says Romney's a businessman, so people here can relate to that.
At last check, 32963 was in the top six zip codes in the nation for Romney contributions.
It doesn't surprise Vero Beach residents from other zip codes who come to enjoy the beaches of 32963.
"I'm not surprised at all," said Herb Whittall, who lives in 32960.
"There's an awful lot of retirees here on the island, so they're looking for change," said Tom Long, a Vero Beach resident who lives on the mainland.
Palm Beach Island's 33480 was in the top five. Two New York City and two Connecticut zip codes were also up there.
Thursday afternoon, the Center for Responsive Politics reported the Naples zip code 34102 comes in third for Romney contributions in the state.
