VERO BEACH — A 24-year-old woman's scratching off of a $5 Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket uncovered a $250,000 prize, according to lottery officials.

She is Jessica Cooper, of Vero Beach, who purchased her winning Monopoly ticket at the Snappy Food Store, 1196 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach.

Cooper was one of two her age who won in that scratch-off game, Lottery officials said Monday. The other winner is a 24-year-old Tallahassee resident whose $2-a-ticket Monopoly game ticket won $30,000.

The $2 and $5 scratch-off games started July 5. They are the latest in a line of Monopoly games. The Florida Lottery introduced the Monopoly-themed scratch-off game 15 years ago and it has become the Lottery's most successful game with combined sales of more than $3 billion to date.

All forms of Lottery sales have totaled more than $22 billion following Florida voters approved the Lottery in 1986.
