VERO BEACH, Fla. -- A Vero Beach mom accused of biting her 17-year-old daughter when the daughter started to take a Rihanna CD from the CD player was arrested, according to recently released records.
The daughter told an Indian River County Sheriff's deputy April 1 that her mother, 38-year-old Robyn Harr, was very intoxicated and had been "being nasty all day," records state.
The daughter said Harr was playing loud music in the house and wouldn't lower the volume.
The daughter said Harr chomped her leg when the daughter went to take the Rihanna CD from the player.
Rihanna, a native of St. Michael, Barbados, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is a hugely successful pop music artist. At least one Rihanna song, "Lemme Get That" from the "Good Girl Gone Bad" album, references biting: "I'm hot like the block / Ugh Huh you like that / know you wanna bite that."
Harr said she bit her daughter because her daughter attacked her. Investigators found no indications of a struggle, noting the leg bite appeared inconsistent with the daughter attacking the mother.
Records didn't state which Rihanna CD was in the player.
Harr's mother said Harr has a drinking problem and needs help.
Harr, of the 1400 block of 18th Avenue Southwest in Vero Beach, was arrested on a battery domestic violence charge.
