INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A pedestrian was hospitalized after she was struck by a car in the 1500 block of U.S. 1 about 11 a.m. Wednesday, Indian River County Fire Rescue officials said.
Paramedics took the woman to Indian River Medical Center, Assistant Fire Chief Brian Burkeen said.
The incident happened in front of Marine Bank and Trust. The woman's identity was not available.
