VERO BEACH — A vehicle crashed through a wall and plate glass window into the lobby of the Tropic branch office of the U.S. Postal Service, 600 Sixth Ave., Vero Beach, shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
The vehicle eventually was backed out and its driver, who identified himself as Anthony Rea, 26, of the 1900 block of First Place, was unharmed.
Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the crash.
Gregory Gagnon, supervisor of the branch post office, said it will be open for business Monday.
