VERO BEACH, Fla -- The Vero Beach Police Department has finished up its half-month "Click It or Ticket campaign," and the results are interesting.
In only fifteen days, there were 54 safety belt violations and two instances of drivers under the influence (DUI). There were no child safety restrain violations or instances of reckless driving.
In total, Vero Beach police recorded 157 violations, about 10.5 violations a day.
The campaign lasted March 1st and March 15th.
