SEBASTIAN, Fla. - Three people were rescued after their boat capsized off of the Sebastian Inlet on Saturday morning, according to Indian River County Sheriff's Office.
The small vessel carrying three boaters capsized at approximately 8:30a.m. , in an area southeast of the Sebastian Inlet known as Monster Hole, according to authorities.
Authorities say one of the boaters swam to shore. The other two were rescued from the water by the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit.
The three rescued boaters were treated by EMS on scene. They appeared to be suffering from exhaustion, according to authorities.
The United States Coast Guard, Indian River Sheriff's Office, Indian River Fire Department Marine Unit, and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office all assisted with the rescue.
